WHERE NARRATIVES NURTURE, NUDGE & NOURISH
I am a wanderlusting woman who writes to unearth truth. Whether it is grief wrapped in tenderness, the art of letting go, or the messiness of transformation, I started writing to make sense of the world around me. From a young age, I filled notebooks with reflections, always on the lookout for meaning, connection, and the hidden threads beneath life’s surface—an instinct shaped by my childhood love of Nancy Drew mysteries. Whether it’s finding patterns in chaos or uncovering truth in complex relationships, storytelling has always been my guiding compass.
As a freelance writer, my work has been published across community advocacy platforms, travel publications and personal essay outlets.
I relish bringing a voice to the often unspoken. My specialty is writing with heart, humor, and an unapologetic splash of truth-telling.
As a mother, storyteller, survivor, and truth seeker, I believe in the healing of words shared and breaking generational patterns that affect our agency. Still, most importantly, I am interested in what I don’t know and how I can expand my knowledge by expanding and editing my identity – what I have learned in many ways, growth is unlearning.
S.H.E. — Share. Heal. Empower. — is a collection of raw, honest stories from women supporting women. This isn’t a book of advice, but of vulnerability, healing, and connection.
Through shared experiences, we discover that strength and struggle often walk hand in hand—and that we are never alone in our journey.
At eleven, Shannon Hogan Cohen began writing letters to her late father—a conversation that would span decades.
Through raw diary entries and therapeutic insight, Love, Me follows one woman’s journey through grief, identity, and breaking generational patterns. Shannon reclaims her voice while inviting readers to explore the pain we inherit, the truths we uncover, and the love that endures
Prolific Preambles (Coming October 2025)
This powerful follow-up to Love, Me invites readers into Shannon’s digital diary—reflecting on motherhood, identity, trauma, and resilience. Through bold, relatable entries, she explores what it means to reclaim your story, set boundaries, and rise—not despite the past, but because of it.
Honest, humorous, and deeply human, this collection is a celebration o
